Dear...

Dear Ms. Vallejo,
I recommend Twilight to you because it is a very interesting and vivid book. I wasn't bored for one second and even though I don't know if you are into vampires I would still recommend it to you because it kept me very entertained every night. This book is for you if you like romances and vampire books or if you like an interesting book that keeps your imagination alive. The author if this book added many details to it so it seemed very vivid and life-like to me. While I was reading I could not put the book down like when Bella and Edward share their first kiss. Also in the beginning of the book is very descriptive and I was very interested in it since the beginning. Since I would read right before I went to bed I would find myself sleeping until late just because I could not put down the book for a second! As I continued reading the book I seemed more drawn in when the Edward fought the bad vampire, James, to save Bella's life. How the book is written also draws you in. it draws you in because the author uses many details and figurative language to make the story come alive. For example when Bella was bitten by James every single detail was extremely descriptive. For me when I read this every single page or chapter would come alive in my mind and it would be as if I wasn’t only reading the book but as if I was witnessing it happen in the very moment. It took me to a whole other world where vampires existed. For the time I was reading this book all I could wait for was getting to the next chapter and reading to know what happened next. However when I finished reading it, I realized it wasn't the last book of the series so i wasn't upset for long. Every day I would read this book I would find myself more and more drawn in. With each page I would wonder what each individual character thought or felt and I would then imagine myself in their position so that kind of made it a lot more interesting for me and it made my imagination expand a bit more. Even after the book was finished I still kept imagining how their lives could have been like after and what would have happened if their child had been killed. I’d always wonder what might have been the outcome of those events and how it would change their life. Over all Twilight was a very good book to read and I would definitely recommend it to you.

Twilight

I decided to go with my father in Forks, Washington. Not used to the cold weather not my favorite type either i prefer the hot weather from Phoenix, Arizona were i live with my brother and he husband. Moms asking if im sure if i want to leave i lie and say yes and she believes me. the town is small not that big cloudy, dark, trees everywhere, and the sun always grounded not aloud to come out and see the world. Luckily my skin well blend in perfectly I'm pail have no color whats so ever, I'm not like the Phoenix girls tan. The plane finally land and i see my Charlie my dad hes the chief of the polices in Forks. He waves and says "Bells" and i say "its Bella" he hugs me and helps put my stuff in the car. We are riding back home not much of a conversation but I like it. he tells me about the school, asks about mom, and we finally arrive to the house. We walk in and he shows me to my room, the room is fine somewhere i can have my personal space. i check my email and i get one from mom i reply its funny how she worries a lot. Dad tells me he got me a car and im excited he says it was Billy Blacks who i dont remeber, he says Jacob Black his son we were best friends? they arrive at the drive way and i go down stairs to the front. the car is a Toyota truck its a faded red kinda old but i like it. i see Jacob and we start to talk, they leave and i go to my room and go to sleep. im up in the morning and get ready for school i get to the truck and ride to school. i get there and im the only one with a lame carbut i really dont care i get myself to the office and they give me my classes. at that moment a guy reaches up to me and say "Isabella Swan" i say its "Bella" he introduces himself Eric hes a nice guy and shows me around. by lunch i met Angela and Jessica nice girls. we are sitting at a table eating when i saw a group of people come in two girls and three guys. they were beautiful perfect everything of them was just wow they were like model dolls. i asked who they were and they said they are the Cullens.

Testing Strategies

Testing Strategies-

  • Eliminate the wrong answers
  • When doing the English test read the questions, then read the passage
  • Ask teachers for clarity on words that you don't understand
  • Make sure to double check your answers
  • Ask the teacher to go over the test with you
The thing that i am going to do to prepare for the CST is to study old test and quizzes to go over standards that we learned before. Have a classmate quiz or go over the test with you to go over the wrong answers and correct them. Ask a teacher to retake any test r quizzes that you did bad on so you can get better at those standards. Also complete any missing assignments that go over the standards on CST to help you. Another way that i am going to prepare for the CST is that i am going to review old notes and homework that go over the standards that are going to be on the CST.
Reviewing old notes will help understand the standards a little bit better, than i did before. Also have an study partner to help you study when you needed the most because if you don't have the notes that they took because you weren't there that day, you can ask your study partner for the notes. Having these tips for you to prepare for the CST will help you get Advanced or Proficient on the CST.

Narrative poem

Running down stairs with riddleer cap.
Everybody excited last day of school.
Yesenia right behind me shes running to.
Almost at the last step:D

I reach the third to last step im so happy.
My feet trip and i fly of the stairs.
Looking around and i see everything in slow motion.
I look up and see the door in front of me.

I push the door open.
Fall like a hockey puck on the ground.
Swept the floor and just stayed there.
I look at my hands and shake my head.

I get myself up and clean my clothes off.
Look around and see everybody with there mouths open:O
So many funny faces that makes me laugh of the inside.

I start to laugh and many laugh along.
Yesenia is dying of laughter.
Many are still staring with a smile on there face.
Cracking up but i feel ain on my leg.

In pain at look at my leg
I see scrape marks on my leg.
Look downer and see blood.
I make a face and rub some blood of.
but it still keeps coming.

Yesenia laughing to tears.
I got a bruise on my knee.
Band aids on my leg.
a ice pack as well.

We are walking and me with a limp.
Like a old school pimp.
I go on the rest of my day.
With a ice pack hugging my leg.
